I am Ready

by Brittany on April 2, 2014

Thank you for all the encouraging comments and notes in response to my last couple of posts.  I’m feeling so much better this week.  It’s amazing what a good diet, high-intensity exercise, and just getting sh** done can do to your attitude and outlook.

Check out this excerpt from my horoscope yesterday.

You could feel expansive and hopeful today and want to find ways to expand your future possibilities. You may be yearning for more fulfilling work, deeper relationships, or a stronger spiritual connection. These feelings could be whispers from your spirit telling you that you are ready to break out of your comfort zone and enter a new phase of growth.

YES, YES, and YES!!!  Don’t you just love it when your horoscope is right on the money?  Or when you stumble upon a quote or message that is 100% relevant to you in that moment?  I’ve put the anxiety behind me and am ready to embrace all that is in store.  I set an intention at the beginning of the year to make 2014 a year of action, and I am so ready to see where that action takes me, while enjoying the ride.  Good bye, comfort zone.

Despite having a jam-packed schedule these past few days, the week seems to be draggging on.  I know it’s because I am so excited to start yoga teacher training on Friday  night that the days are creeping by.  A part of yoga is learning to be present, so I’m going to implement that and enjoy the feelings of excitement/anticipation/unknown until then. Oh, but it’s so hard!

Another reason the week has been dragging on is I have been on a 3-day fruit detox.  Say what?  Y’all know I am totally against cleanses/detoxes/fad diets, so I’ll explain more soon.

I’ll leave you with this today, a great Lifebuzz article about the 30 Things to Stop Doing to Yourself #’s 1, 20, and 18 have my name all over them.

Q: What have you done lately to take you totally outside of your comfort zone?  Which numbers in the Lifebuzz article do you relate with most?
