Today was a whirlwind. It started with me sleeping through my second alarm (seriously, why don’t I just get up on the first one?!?). Luckily I still had enough time to get an awesome leg workout in. Thank goodness. There is nothing worse than missing a workout on a Monday. OK there are probably worse things but I prefer to start the week out with a bang.
I got about 4 hours of sleep last night thanks to my Livy girl who was being a menace all night!
So I decided to take a thermogenic to help wake me up for the gym. Bad idea. I used to LOVE Lipo 6 Hers because it gave me so much energy and helped me really focus and dominate at the gym. But lately it just makes me disoriented like I can’t keep up with myself. I haven’t given up on it completely yet but for the short term I’ll stick to black coffee as my pre workout pick-me-up.
Are any of you following my meal plan this week? I’m loving it! Don’t be surprised if I keep this one around for another week. That egg and turkey bacon sandwich is just what I needed to spice things up.
I had every intention of attending hot yoga after work but I had a meeting that ran a little late. So instead I came straight home and took my little beasts for jogs (I run them separately – Livy still pulls and Champ has anxiety that requires my full attention).
Have I mentioned Champ is taking part in the Transformation Challenge too? Yup, he gained a couple Christmas pounds so we’ve been hitting the pavement together. It feels good to run outside again even if its just a mile or two. I’m sure he agrees.
Yep, he does. Alright, time to put the laptop down, enjoy some protein pudding and get some rest. Hopefully more rest than last night. Until tomorrow!
